John Curtin College of the Arts theatre complex at dusk
Curtin College of the Arts is well equipped and has considerable experience hosting conferences. It is the venue for the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers’ biennial conference in July 2009. The college is readily accessible from the designated MERGA accommodation sites, either by walking or on the half-hourly free CAT bus.

Fremantle Sailing Club Marina and Clubhouse
The Fremantle Sailing Club prides itself on a 100-year plus history and heritage. It is the largest of its kind in Australia and has been associated with various international and local races. Most notably and recently, the club was connected to the Volvo Round the World Race. This wonderful dinner venue will provide great vistas of the Fremantle marinas and the Indian Ocean.

The conference, dinner, and accommmodation locations (except for the Trade Winds Hotel, which is just off the north-east of the map at the end of East St) are shown on the PDF copy. The free CAT bus route is clearly shown. Please note that the CAT bus runs every 10 minutes from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm on weekdays, but only from 10.00 am to 6.30 pm on weekends.
